Priebeh voliteľnej štátnej skúšky (výberový predmet)
- Štátna skúška prebieha v anglickom jazyku, od študenta sa očakáva komunikačná úroveň min. B1 (potvrdené vysvedčením o maturitnej skúške, certifikát a pod.).
- Okruhy téz na štátne skúšky zverejní KAJL do 15. januára. Do 31. januára môžu študenti zasielať svoje pripomienky vedúcemu katedry (KAJL). Po 1. februári už nie sú prípustné žiadne úpravy.
- Štátne skúšky prebiehajú pred komisiou, sú verejné a vedie ich predseda komisie.
- Študent si ťahá jednu otázku. Následne má cca. 10 min. na prípravu ústnej odpovede. Príprava na odpoveď musí byť písomná – na papieri označenom pečiatkou katedry. Túto písomnú prípravu študent po odpovedi odovzdá a je súčasťou protokolu o štátnej skúške.
- Čas na odpoveď je limitovaný dĺžkou 10 minút.
- V miestnosti s komisiou sa vždy nachádzajú minimálne dvaja študenti – spravidla jeden odpovedá a druhý sa pripravuje na odpoveď.
- Členovia komisie môžu počas odpovede kedykoľvek položiť študentovi doplňujúce otázky z okruhu, ktorý si študent vybral.
- Hodnotenie študentov je neverejné. Komisia hodnotí výkon študenta (vecnú a terminologickú správnosť, prezentačné zručnosti, schopnosť formulovať názor, zdôvodniť ho a adekvátne reagovať v akademickej diskusii) podľa študijného poriadku PdF TU. Výsledok obhajoby ohodnotí komisia klasifikačnými stupňami A - Fx. Výsledky sa oznamujú individuálne – každému študentovi jednotlivo.
