The Department of English and American Studies, Faculty of Arts, at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia is extending a warm invitation to the 3rd Nitra Postgraduate Conference in English Studies: Voices and Visions, taking place on May 10, 2024, in the city of Nitra.
The plenary speech for the linguistics and methodology section will be delivered by prof. PaedDr. Zdena Kráľová, PhD., from the Department of English Language and Culture, Faculty of Education at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The plenary speaker for the literature section will be doc. Mgr. Pavlína Flajšarová, PhD., from the Department of English and American Studies, Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
This conference is a vibrant platform for young scholars to share and discuss their groundbreaking ideas. The conference is looking for insightful papers preferably on literary and linguistic topics, but it is open to topics in methodology as well.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Prepare an abstract of your presentation (up to 600 words), including the title of your paper, your name, e-mail address, and affiliation.
2. Send the abstract to erik.vrab [at] ukf.sk by March 11, 2024.
You will get a notification of acceptance by March 22, 2024.
Accepted papers will be published in the form of a book in an international publishing house, giving your work the audience it deserves.
The conference registration fee is 50€. Details on the venue will be announced soon, but we are also extending an option to participate online for those who might have issues attending in person.
