The department is on a long‑term basis successful in projects of national research and development agencies APVV, VEGA, KEGA.
Grant support has been received from many important foundations e.g. Volkswagen Slovakia Foundation.
The department has also cooperated on projects with NGO’s, e.g. organization People in Peril.
Members of the department are involved in important international projects as Pri‑Sci‑Net and Fibonacci (The 7th Framework Programme of EC).
