The new monograph by Assoc.Prof. Zuzana Hrdličková Achieving a Higher Level of Communicative Competence in English for Specific Purposes deals with discrete understandings of literacy and focuses on reading literacy since Slovak pupils and students do not achieve satisfactory results in PISA assessments. The content of the monograph is divided into 7 chapters.
