  Ondrej Kaščák, PhD., Assoc. Prof., is the head of the department of School Pedagogy at Trnava university (Slovakia) and the senior research fellow at Centre for Research in Education at Institute for Research in Social Communication of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. He is the lead editor of the Journal of Pedagogy (http://www.​degruyter.​com/​view/​j/​jped otvárané v novom okne
(obvykle ide o externý odkaz)). His research interests cover the school and education policy (focusing on neoliberal governmentality), school ethnography, sociology of childhood and sociology of education.
