RESOLUTION PRINCIPLE IN FUZZY PREDICATE LOGIC

ROZLIŠOVACÍ PRINCÍP V PREDIKÁTOVEJ FUZZY LOGIKE

    Abstract: The article presents refutational resolution theorem proving system for the Fuzzy Predicate Logic of First-Order (FPL) based on the general (non-clausal) resolution rule. There is also presented an unification algorithm handling existentiality without skolemization. Its idea follows from the general resolution with existentiality for the first-order logic. When the prover is constructed it provides the deductive system, where existing resolution strategies may be used with some limitations arising from specific properties of the FPL.

    Abstract: This article presents the use of a genetic algorithm to find an optimal layout for the placement of regular patterns of fixed sizes and simple shapes to minimize the waste. Experiments on various pattern designs indicate that genetic algorithms can effectively be used to obtain highly efficient solutions.

    Abstract: A preparation of a good e-learning course is a difficult process which is different from a process of preparation of a textbook. The paper deals with application of latest results of cognitive psychology in e-learning courses which were designed by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Education, Trnava University. The authors also describe how they would have improved the courses if they had had a greater budget.

    Abstract: We publish the international evaluation study TIMSS - Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study. This article presents the achievement of 14 years old students in Mathematics and the student’s results in the mathematics domains. We compare the score of all participants.

FOR GAMMA RADIATION MEASUREMENTS IN ENVIRONMENT

    Abstract: The paper describes the most important properties and possibilities of utilization of the gas filled and scintillation detectors for measuring the gamma radiation. As a gas filled detector was chosen the proportional detector RS 03/232 with an intelligent sond and for scintillations the detector with anorganic scintillator NaI(Tl). For this two types of detectors the possibilities of utilization for measuring the gamma radiation in environment were compared. In the next part are evaluated and interpreted the results of comparative measurings of these two types of detectors. In the conclusion are summarised advantages and disadvatages of the usage of both these detector types for measuring the gamma radiation in environment.

    Abstract: Due to serious problems in teaching natural sciences succesfuly to encourage more young pupils and students for the selection of some natural science as the future profession as well as due to the absence of off-school education and entertainment in the field of physical science, we decided to establish so called astronomical educational concerts to popularize the science and to inspire young people. Here, the reasons of our decision are presented thoroughly and the description of managing and operating the concerts to be described.

    Abstract: The paper is devoted to the description of methodology for variability determination of point light source, as well as to data reduction and anlysis of data to obtain basic physical chracteristics of discovered variable stars. We characterize basic photometric behavior of new variables discovered by our group in the fileds of BX Pegasi and V Sagittae.

    Abstract: This report deals with comparison of Kalman filter which I have modified for energetic system in a framework of academic dissertation works and other standard kinds of filtration used in Nuclear Power Plant for on elimination of noise included in neutron flux measurement of on ionizing chambers located in active zone of nuclear reactor at normal operation conditions of nuclear power plant. For determination of real state it is needed to make a measurement which includes an extensive complex of activities and analyzes, which lead up to best knowledge of measured parameters, or alternatively real status, that is possible to reach with filtration.
